Tips on how to collect
Have you ever walked into a room and admired an art print, a sculpture, a framed photo on the wall? At Tropical Arts, we make it easy to act on your passion for art.
See a digital or physical work that you like? Buy it with a credit card. Have it sent to your home or download it to your desktop. Boom! You’re a collector.
What to collect
On Tropical Arts, the emphasis is on hand-crafted digital and physical works.
We’re here to connect you with outstanding Caribbean creators and their authentic works that
you’ll want to own for the long term.
How to collect
Head to the Discover page and filter your results to zero in on the kinds of works that appeal to you – fine art photography, sculptures, digital art, you name it. You don’t need to know anything about crypto, wallets or NFTs. Click to buy and it’s yours.
If you buy a painting, sculpture or ceramic work, wouldn’t it be nice to have a permanent record of the story behind it and the artist’s name? Wouldn’t it be cool to have a record on the blockchain to prove you’re the exclusive owner?
Many NFTs also contain unlockable content (also called bonus content or simply utility). Often the NFT will serve as a ticket or pass to gain entry to a gated online community, an event or a special perk.
Show off your good taste – and do good
Exclusive bragging rights
With a Tropical Arts purchase, you get exclusivity and bragging rights. You can build out a portfolio of NFTs you’ve purchased on your profile page as a statement about your taste in art.
Digital art collection
Sooner than you realize, you’ll start showing off the works you’ve purchased in digital wall frames in your home or office. When you’re ready to trick out a space in the metaverse, you’ll have a digital-ready art collection to hang on the walls.
Web3 needs patrons. Why not support emerging artists, help new artforms to emerge … and give creators the capacity to experiment? You can also do good by supporting local nonprofits when you purchase.
